[Policy Framework] [Fliers] [Our Competitors] [Election Commission] The Shadow CabinetIt is important to build a Shadow Cabinet even though the day when the Cabinet will actually sit in the Secretariat at New Delhi is yet beyond the horizon. All aspects of economic, social, political and technical development need Shadow Cabinet members. If you are interested, please write to Sanjeev.
Policy FrameworkEach member of the Shadow Cabinet will be responsible for studying existing policies of the concerned Ministry and to write out a Policy Framework for implementation for that Ministry when VIP is given the opportunity by the people of India to implement these policies. The Policy Framework for each Ministry and each sector will be placed on this web site to enable the people of India to learn about the details of the actual policies that will be implemented by VIP. The people need to know exactly what will happen, in each area of activity, to give them the ability to make the correct choice and to decide whether they want VIP or not. The People of India will determine whether they want success or not. Our task is merely to offer them the choice to succeed, and explictly state the Recipe for this Success. It is our firm belief that by placing these Policy Frameworks on the web, members of other political parties (who generally represent the confused people from India at the moment), will be able to "steal" our ideas and cause the vital shift to the Right that India needs, even before VIP is brought to power by the People. If the Left begins to follow policies belonging to the Right, as has been the case in China for 20 years now, and as is the case in the USA today, it does not quite matter what they call themselves: Communists or Democrats or whatever. The policies are important. It is the correct set of policies that will lead to India's success. Not the names of the parties or the leaders. For example, a Balanced Budget is a balanced budget no matter by which name you call it.
Action PlansAfter the Policy Framework for each Ministry has been carefully worked out, at a level of specificity lower than that of the Manifesto, the time will come (ultimately) for working out a broad Action Plan for each Ministry. Within the structure of the Action Plan, the detailed day-to-day policies will be worked out, which are going to be too many to even try to "plan" for.All in all, the task before us is a tall order.
Come, join us in researching the BEST policies (given this imperfect world) for the creation of Victories for India in the next millennium. |
